Shining Star Program
Goal: To recognize students who consistently demonstrate qualities that make Cleveland Hill a better place to be. These qualities include respect of self, school and others, responsibility, kindness, generosity, good manners, school spirit and a love of learning.
Who is eligible? All CHMS students in good standing.
What will the students receive? A star with their name and a brief description of why they were nominated on the Shining Star bulletin board, a certificate mailed home, and an invitation to the June Ice Cream Social.
How often will Shining Stars be chosen? Once a month.
How will the process work? All MS teachers will be given a nomination form each month. Teachers will nominate a student and write a brief explanation. All students who are nominated will receive recognition!
Who is on the Shining Star Committee? Mrs. Haynes, Mrs. Balthasar, Mrs. Schmitt, and Ms. Aschenbrenner are on the committee.
